We’ll share details on what it looks like to go out on an emergency response call and how local partnerships, like those with Rotary, help expand our emergency response efforts and ensure every survivor has a safe path forward, day or night.

26 Mar. 2026 Annual Rotary Public Speaking Contest Mar. 26, 2026 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. 📣 District 5190 Area Speech Contest Hosted by Gold Country Rotary Gold Country Rotary is proud to host the annual District 5190 Area Speech Contest, an inspiring event that highlights student leadership, confidence, and the power of effective communication. Outstanding student speakers from area high schools will present prepared speeches and compete for the opportunity to advance to the next level of Rotary competition. 🗓 Event Details Date: Thursday, March 26, 2026 Time: 12:00 noon Location: Awful Annie’s Address: 13460 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA 95603 The contest will be held during Gold Country Rotary’s regular weekly meeting. Lunch will be provided for all contestants. We invite community supporters to join our audience of Rotarians who is eager to cheer them on. 🏆 Awards & Advancement Cash prizes will be awarded to three finalists: 1st Place – Cash Prize 2nd Place – Cash Prize 3rd Place – Cash Prize The 1st Place winner will advance to compete at the Annual Multi-District Conference in Reno, representing Area and District 5190 for the final competition (date to be announced). This event reflects Rotary’s ongoing commitment to youth development, education, and leadership.
